Scale
We automatically relate scale to the size of the human body: how big something is compared to us. The silhouette figure in my images is a simple device which changes your perception of what you’re looking at as soon as you find it. Strange landscapes and otherworldly objects represent this theme and the tiny person adds to the illusion of vastness.
